just a odd ball question but will you ever take your truck to the track w/ that 2jz??

Do you mean drag strip, maybe, i mainly decided to do the 2jz swap just for laughs. I did it for 2 reasons:
1) I thought it would be amusing seeing people always tried to be you from the line at traffic lights because your ride is lower.
2) People told it is too hard a conversion to do, but i have seen a few 1jzgte done, so why go soft, i did the 2jz.

true..i'd like to see the numbers..did you replace your rear end too?

I have had some progress with engine parts lately, i finally got the money together to purchase my fuel rail, 800cc injectors and fuel reg, also bought the fittings to hook up my fuel into it. now i have to get some more money together to buy the fuel filters - looking at running a pre filters and a final filters.

I am waiting for my billet specilities overflow bottle and power steering reservoir to arrive

i also have done a few things over the last few weekends seeing it rained for most of it:

Installed some 93 supra seats
Made up a plate to cover my hole in the trans tunnel

Started to install my dynamat

Trail fitted the turbo (to4z - rated at 800hp) and radiator



I'm glad the turbo will fit under my bonnet

your prolly gonna have to go with a 9in rear end on that. cuz the yota rear end i dont believe will hold that much power.

Also theres a guy here in sac that is already done the 2jz-gte swap and is running in the low 9s

I'm unsure, alot of our 8 sec rotors run the yota factory diff. I do have plans later on down the track to change the centre to a taller centre.

I'm aiming for 11s, i plan on using it as a daily as well.

Not much has happened in the last few months as i had a so called 'friend' take my money i gave him for parts. That meant no money to finish my project off.
So i'm now chasing him through the courts.

I had the modify my crossmembers so i could run a 3" exhaust system.
