You can get one like that off any 79-83 2WD truck.

So what to do with the clutch cylinder?
I think i have to move it over left(facing) a lil but ,that would mean move the booster.And the lower right hand bolt (inside the cab facing)of the booster would have to be re drilled into the steering shaft plate(the plate bolted to the firewall surrounding the steering wheel shaft)
I dont think i can go up any higher If i bd it?

quick question ?I havent even looked so dont roll me if its easy!
Has anyone every changed the gearBox on top of the tranny?My stick feels way sloppy and if you look at it wrong(ok maybe exaggerating a lil)it will slip out of gear.

Is there any possibilitys any broken pcs can fall in the tranny?

Nothign will fall in the tranny. You can get a new shifter bushing. They're cheap and easy to replace, and will make your tranny feel sloppy. You just pull off the top 4 bolts that hold the shifter in, pull the hole thing out, and on the end is a little plastic piece that looks like a cup. It just snaps off and you put the new one on.

Now if you do this and its still sloppy or slipping out of gear, you have bigger problems.

Swore i took that speedo off the tranny..oops



Now i can at least get to the tranny x-member with no problems.hope fully get that worked out by monday.Then i still need some bushings and tubing to make some Body mounts.Prob could hack the old ones?Still need to figure what size exhaust tubing i can squeeze in there?

All I need is the 79-83 Booster and it will bolt up to my existing master?
