So, I bought the truck and decided to make this thread so that I could put all my questions here.

I ended up paying $500 for it but that’s the way it goes. We towed it home and bled the brakes and the clutch. Amazing, now I have brakes and a clutch! As for the carb we poured some gas in it and it works, the idle is just a little low. I may buy another one anyways if we have a hard time with this one. So I took it for a drive and for $500 and 2 hours of work it is the fastest car we own. That little four banger pumps harder than the six in the ’91 4x4. I love this truck. It was my first time driving a non-power steering car and I scared the shit out of myself when I turned into the driveway, I thought I wasn’t gonna make it. I think this truck will be a lot of fun.

Did ya fix the tailgate with some WD-40?Shit if so than that covers most of the problem's it had,........... well besides the dash

Yeah, all it needed was some air in the tires and a good washing and it brought the shine right back. lol

And yes all we did was use WD-40 on the hinges and it loosend right up.

Well, more cleaning. I used engine degreaser and cleaned the engine compartment for the first time. I also took the crappy carpet out and am looking for a carpet kit for it. Does anyone know where I could get one? Also, is it worth it to buy the Dynamat stuff? What does it cost and where do you get it? I was thinking about trying to get some Taco buckets for it. I also pressure washed the whole underside, it is dirt free now! Until I drive it again.

Auto Custom Carpets. .

Fat Mat is 1/3 of the price of Dynamat and works just as well.
