1982 Toyota Pickup

My dad is trying to talk me into making my own. Like a diagonal billet type out of aluminum and the well get it anodized red. And put a new toyota emblem in the upper corner. But if i dont do that, then i'll get the 4wd grille. He says he thinks it will fit ok.

if i had all the money i've ever wasted, i'd be a rich man. 40 bucks aint shit, sell it if it doesnt fit dude.

Personally, I would paint the new grill and front bumper to match...be it flat black or whatever. That would at least give the front end some uniformity until you figure out exactly what you want to do. So yeah, Id paint the grill/bumper and focus on getting the paint back some and working on the interior.

I have no job and 40 bucks is hard to come by. I have some money that was already set aside for a truck and i'm trying to get it to run correctly before i spend it on anything else.

We buffed the hood out a bit and are waiting to see if is going to fade again and if it doesn't then we'll do the rest of the truck.

As for the interior I have all the carpet out, and those crappy door panels are off. I got some wood and made a new door panel, now i just have to copy it for the other side. Then get my mom to help with covering them.

I don't have a legitimate job. But I pull in enough monthly to pay my bills and have a little left over for the truck.

I'm 16, I still live with my parents. Thats how I live. But I am looking for a job because the money for the truck will run out fairly quickly.
