I understand that a WRX donor would be nice, it would be twice as much money as a Talon or Eclipse because they are more popular and not as easy to find unless you could find a rollover or rear collision donor. The guy with the Mitsubishi AWD looks to be running the Eclipse gear, and that only makes sense. The only other options I could see as reasonable would be a rare Mitsubishi AWD 3000GT (good luck), or the failed experiment early Prelude that Honda gave AWD and All-wheel-steering. Or you could just drop in an LS1, six speed, narrowed independant rear with the widest, lowest tires you could get on atleast 20's, keep it hidden under your hood, and smoke Vettes at the light!

If you wanted to stay all toyota find a wrecked Rav4 or Sequoia mini van, they came all wheel drive.

The Dailmer-Chrysler setup would by far be the cheapest route if you can find one that hasn't been thoroughly trashed. The Subaru Impreza or WRX would be the stoutest of the 2, pricier yes but very reliable.

Now I didnt think of that a rav 4 ....that way it all stays toyota but that talon and eclipise idea is good too.....thats why I brought this up I was hoping some of you knew about some all wheel drive vehicles. But if I did a rav 4 i dunno how stout that drivetrain is for horsepower where as the talon Im shure I can find drive train upgrades.....

The RAV is an option, but you're also right about the limits on performance upgrades. I don't know too many people out at the drag strip or road course breaking records with an Suv. I helped a neighbor build up his Talon AWD Turbo and have had immense respect for the performance we got out of that car. The first things we did was go aftermarket BOV and 3" exhaust, install a Turbo Timer, and run better oil lines to the turbo, and when we took it to a 1/8th mile strip, he was whippin all the street cars (V8's). The only people beating him to the other end were the Pros. But of course they had 10 times as much money in those cars considering they were Pros with trailers that cost more than our houses and cars we could only dream of building. The key was all in the high revs and that monster traction! All for less than $5500 (including the car!).

Guess what, I found a 2006 WRX donor, practically brand new with a salvage title. It has been wrecked but most all of the damage is on the driver rear like it had been slid into something. The guy only wants $8900. If you really want to go through with it, this would be your high power donor!!!!!!

Hey man hit me up with that info I have been searching for a donor car

It's at a place called Robbins Auto Parts, 1891 Harris-Henrietta Rd., Forest City, NC,28043. (828)657-5732. They have a huge salvage yard but they specialize in alot of brand new wrecked cars! Great donors! I did see an SS 6-speed camaro I'm interested in for my 68 C-10 project.
