You mean like boxing the back side essentially?

The length of the control arms on these trucks really limits the travel. They have such a tight arch that it maxes the upper balljoint out prematurely, in comparison to the lower. I can get about 14 inches out of the lower balljoint, and just under 9 out of the upper. Its about 6.5" long to the center of the balljoint.

thats what i was thinking. or even splitting a section of tubing to fit in there so it rolled up from the frame to the area under where the shafts will be. or just box it. think it would finish that area nicely.

I'll think about it. Its tricky getting a welder back there with the cab on and the engine in.

Damn Seth...only you can take lead & turn it into gold!! Looks bad ass!!

Lol. Thanks dude.

Front shocks are on. Yes, I am aware the shock is upside down. They are made to work mounted in both directions. And they come with different sized bolt sleeves, so I wanted the larger bolt in the single shear application.

Very nice...where did you get those shocks from & what did they cost?

RCD Suspension. I am unsure of the retail cost, they don't list it on their website. If you want some call Steve Duck and he will set you up. They have a line of shocks meant to be used with air ride.

The column in MT? I still can't get that magazine in this area...

They are big with 4WD stuff, but they have been doing hot rods for years as well which not as many people where aware of.

yep.

go here:

I bet if you ask real nice you could take up a collection from the YS newbies to get you a prescription, er... uh... subscription to MT. You know they think you're god right? lmao... but seriously, I get a but load of mags in the mail, most of which i only scan for good articles, but I've always read my MT's cover to cover. Best minitruck related mag no doubt.
