Alright, so I got a lot of pictures to upload here. The truck has been sitting on stands for months, but the bodydrop has finally started, so here you go.....

Damn that welding looks like ass

the welds on the frame

Yea, and I P A I D for that shit!!!! The outsides are decent, if you were looking with the whole core support on, but the insides are ridiculous. They had my truck for 3 months to bag the front, and this is the result. Not too pleased.

Welding 16 ga to the body for the filler plates is no fun task either. Hard to make those look good, but they're strong and will obviously be covered anyway.

Now I'm waiting on parts from suicide doors like fittings, line, etc. In the meantime, I continue....

I like your work better! nice progress man, how much was your Z?
stll2hi   +1y
Thanks man. Turned out to be 3.5"....2.5" for the body drop, plus the 1" GOEZ had moved up the engine. They did it in a "not so good" place which made for the dramatic drop. I would have felt better if it had been back a little further, but that's the fun part of fixing things!! Engine gonna be sticking out a bit for a while!!

So I finally got this beotch off the jacks and onto the floor. Here's some pieces test fitted...

Next is moving wires out of the engine bay that don't need to be there, running battery cables, etc.

Haha...thanks. I wanted the smooth bumper, but Grant wanted my first born to make one, so I figured I'd do it myself!!
