Almost done with the floor. Next is wheel tubs.

Are you going to replace the floor? Or is that just surface rust? Looking good!

Its actually glue. Its a bitch to get off.

i had some of that on my toyota, there was rubber flooring in the truck that was glued down. when i pulled the flooring up that glue had turned black almost into a tar-like substance. only way i could get it off was slowly with a grinder, and the smell was aweful!

Thats exactly what it is. It had rubber floor mats glued down. They wherent hard to peel off, but that glue sure is.

Try some air craft stripper or use some Citrol or Simple Green on it. We use Citrol on our machines to clean them, it shouldn't hurt any of the painted surfaces if it gets on there.

^^ i was thinking aircraft stripper... that shit is crazy. lol. paint thinner might even work to. just dont go mixing chemicals like we used to do in paperbags at school.....

I tried aircraft stripper. It ate everything around it, but wouldn't touch the glue. It just got hard.
