I'll be going to the local JC to get my AA and take some technical classes. They have a great machining course I'm interested in. But I want to take the summer off, and find a job.

smart move man. I waited about 7 fucking years before I went for any secondary education. I'm finished machine tool tech a few years ago but have been doin a co-op job and had to stay in school so I've got a CNC certificate and will have an Advanced MT certificate next friday. I do however intend to go to college next year and try to start working on a degree.

BTW, I was curious what kind of machines you work with at your shop. I'm kind of kicking around the idea of picking up a mill and lathe for myself.

Lol, shop. I think its funny how everyone thinks I have a shop. But I have access to a lathe. It belongs to my grandpa, but I have a key to the garage. Its like a 5-6 minute drive from my house.
