thanks,I was wanting to make it long, like to the front half of the bed, that seems more realistic to me,kinda like on fire at 90mph?

Then make them thin and wavy, not bunched together. Then it will look like fire hauling ass. Otherwise, just fire burning for a while.

yeah,I'm gonna make it burn really hot in the nose and just let it flow onto the doors and the bedsides

here is some real fire by the guy thats painting my yota, i think the difference in yours and his is that his has less french curve edges, i.e. hard edges, real fire doesnt have hard edges. good luck.

yeah I see.my problem is I am so used to doing traditional flame jobs I make the shapes without noticing.I'm gonna catch something on fire and take alot of pic's then try to recreate it with the airbrush, thanks for the pic-looks good!

Why didnt you take pictures when your house burned down? I'm sure there was a lot of different flames to go by.

at the time I was at work, when Igot there it was just barely smoking, lost everything I had and my dog(which was family)died in the house.I wasn't concerned about anything else at the time.

I apreciate it,my truck was sitting in the yard, about 20 feet or so from the house.we drove my wife's suburban to work that night, but the crazy thing was my caddy(the next project)was less than 2 feet away from the side of my house.it only shattered the quarter glass on the rear door, but that was the fire department's fault when they were spraying water, didn't damage it in any other way,I still can't belive it,the top was already faded like that when I bought it

so I guess it could have been a lot worse, but it still sucked,I want my dog back,it's one of those things that you think will never happen, but it does.oh and my home owners insurance wouldn't even pay for my window, and they didn't cover my jet-ski either
