Looking for some pics of a body dropped bed

Ok as it says above i'm looking for some ideas for bd'ing my bed. Anybody have em?

I bodydropped a bed for a guy in my club. Actually, I marked it out, he cut it, and I welded it up and laid down some seam sealer. These are the only two pics I've got of it before it left.


Thats before any welding, it was just tacked, but you get the idea. Raised the bed floor up, and body dropped it 6 inches. I like the way it looks.

y dont u move the bed mounts instead of cutting the bed..this way its still the same size as it was instead of 6 inches shorter..my buddy did it with his mazda...i was thinkin of doin this if i went on to bd my yotA

Heres a 99 we did.

The front mounts would be easy to move but there are two in the rear that are the actual frame itself.

I'm basically interested in what others have done for the sides since the floor and the walls are joined together. I don't know if I am going to sheetmetal or reuse the original side yet.


Also, I'm worried about how much floor height I will lose since I have Devious notches and they are pretty tall.

Thats how i did my bed, pretty much just channaled it around the frame at the back you could just drop the frame rails in the back and then the only hole would be the notch area.
