Just get a new flat rear screen cut to suit, mine was like $80NZ cut from tinted glass for my Corolla ute.

i don't know why, maybe because i'm tired, but that yota confuses me.

ok it was just the sleep. They layed back the pillars. This is going to be a real treat, using the stock front pillar angle and moving the back window down. I guess the big question is, if i do the quarter roof chop and lower the stock back window, towards the top of the back glass will there be a goofy lookin lot of sheetmetal between the side top of the back glass and the actual side of the cab.

Ok scratch that. I woke up a little. Looks like i'll just drop and widen the back window frame and get new glass cut for it. And i should be able to cut the front window and maybe reuse the side glass. I've probably confused enough people for the night.

Why not just cut the entire window frame out, chop the top, and then weld it back in. Will add a few extra hours of fab time, but save you the trouble of getting glass cut.

I know what your saying and that is what i was planning on doing. After i thought though its seems like the quarter chop will place too much space between the sides of the glass and the top of the cab. But it might just be all in my head. Lookin at the pics of the other toy it doesn't look like it would be much of a problem. Here this might help

Thats narrower because the bottom of the B pillar was split apart to line back up with the cab. Personally I like that chop. Thats the one thats leaned back with a mildly cut down windshield.

alright, its just hard to visualize when my trucks not here at the house. I know its hard to believe but i'm not crazy about that chop.
