Ok yeah I forgot about this thread too.......whatcha do is remove all the a/c componets in your system. Then have someone tap out the top plates on the compressor itself,ya wanna do pipe thread.on the suction side your gonna do a air filter.on the discharge side your gonna do a steel braded line that runs from the compressor to a dryer. Then take the clutch hot wire and remote moutn it to a switch.
Here is a few pics to help ya out.

in an a/c system a little bit of oil is pumped through the system. it would only make sense since you are putting oil into the suction line. And about how much oil would you put? what happens to the oil that goes through the line to the tank? and why are york compressors popular. It doesnt really matter as long as its a compressor right? My truck doesnt have a/c but can I just throw the compressor on since there should be factory bolt holes right? And where could I tape the clutch power from. It's just a 12v source right? Sorry bout all the questions. This sites awesome.

ahhhhh ok whatcha should do is use the factory compressor since it bolts right up.The cluth power get that from a switch or a pressure switch connected inline. Most of the oil will go through the system or sill be caught in a trap of some sort. The oil wont hurt the valves it will lubricate the valves.York compressors are really popular cause of the ease and longevity of them, they use a two piston setup versus the small bullet type sanden or seltec use a screw type.

even if ihooked the power line to a manual switch, should i use a pressure switch to control the ground side? or can i use a pressure switch that controls both the positive and negative. do they even sell dual psi switches where it turns on after it drops to a certain psi and of when it reaches another specified psi. like a 125-on and 200-off. if the oil goes through the whole system would u have to put oil in frequently? and is it messy at the valves?
thanx
