^yea as the subject says, does that really happen?? im about to remove my middle leaf spring, and this guy off of myspace said that he did something like that to his mighty max(if i read his email correctly) and his drive shaft didnt line up. I was wondering if that is a problem with toyotas.

there was a discussion about removing the middle leaf on another thread, but nothing was said about the driveshaft being out of line after doing that. i was just making sure that this wouldnt result because the last thing i would need is for this to happen and f up my truck

never had that happen to any of the trucks we did. he must not have tighten the u bolts up enough or just gave it pure hell and had enough axle torque to cause a problem. if you go spinning wheels all the time your going to have some axle torque just like you do now when u get on it. but it shoudn't be a problem

i would ride leafless, if i was bag'd and it wasnt my daily driver

I run with one, de-arched leaf per side and no problems other than the fact the u-bolts catch everything that sits above 6 inches tall.
