Id like to get some feedback from you guys about this subject.
All my freinds are telling me reverse 4-link is garbage and its gonna pull my driveshaft out.
Note: they all drive s-10's
But when I go to shows there are tons of people running reverse 4-link setups especially on imports.
I already bought my 4link from SSD.
I am having alot of problems with moving the gas tank and stuff it just seems more loogical to go reverse.
Thanks

It really depends on how you're gonna mount your bags. if you're going over the axle you wont have that much lift so it wont matter as much as it would if you put them on the bars. I'd say if you mounted them on the bars and try for some crazy lift good chance in it but just over the axle should be perfectly fine.

I DONT REALLY LIKE REVERSE FOURLINKS EITHER (ON ANY TRUCK). THE WAY THEY WORK IS LOGICAL BUT ITS HOLDING THE REAR END FROM A WHOLE DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE. ALSO, WITH REVERSE FOURLINKS WITH THE BAGS MOUNTED ON THE BARS, WHEN YOU ACCELERATE THE TRUCK WILL SAG REALLY BAD. EVERYONE I KNOW WHO HAS ONE DOESNT LIKE IT EITHER. IF YOUR CONCERNED ABOUT THE GAS TANK YOU COULD DO A SETUP SIMILAR TO MINE. IT HAS THE BAGS MOUNTED OVER THE AXLE. OR YOU COULD LOOK AT SETH'S TOYOTA HE DID A SIMIALR SET UP ONLY MOUNTED THEM BEHIND THE AXLE. WE KEPT OUR STOCK TANKS IN THE STOCK POSITION ONLY MOVED UP A COUPLE INCHES TO KEEP IT FROM DRAGGIN.

COULD YOU RETURN IT? IF YOU DID A SET UP LIKE MINE YOU COULD MODIFY TWO OF THE FOUR LINK BARS TO USE THEM AS THE LOWER BARS FOR THE LIKNK SET UP LIKE WHAT I HAVE. LOOK AT THE WAY TWISTEDMINIS (SETH) DID HIS TRUCK...YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO USE THE OTHER TWO FOURLINK BARS WITH SOME MODIFICATION TO MOUNT THE BAGS ON THOSE BARS BEHIND THE AXLE LIKE WHAT HE DID. JUST A THOUGHT. I HOPE THAT MADE SENSE. IF NOT LET ME KNOW.

dont return it, reverse is fine, as well as forward, a 4 link does not pull out your driveshaft, the lower bars control the side to side movement of the axle and the upper bars control the pinion angle, runnig a reverse 4 link with the bags on the lower bars is a good idea, i ran one on a daily driven bd yota i had, that i commuted 120 miles 4 times a week in, rode like a cadillac, pulling out your driveshaft only occurs with huge amounts of lift. hurry and get it on. youll love it.

Read any suspension book ,or info, forward is the right way. Laws of phyisics apply here,& you can't change them!!
