i've done both set ups, and on a low HP truck ya don't really feel any problems. But for the amount of time it takes to move the tank to the back, run it forward.

Dude relocating the tank is a bitch my main feed line nuts are all corroded.
I dont want to break that shit.

You have other options.

he wants his truck to drive seth, so he needs a gas tank, so your option wont owrk for him, gas tank is a must, he doesnt want his truck sitting in a garage getting photoshoots everyday from all angles, puta!

I have to totally disagree with this. If the reverse 4 link is set up properly it will not have the driveline pull out, brake fade or any of that other shit. A forward 4 link, if improperly installed will result in a similar fashion as the reverse. The rev. 4 has gotten too much bad publicity due to morons not setting them up correctly and too many arm chair mini truckers that think their s10's are customized.

If a rev. 4 is set up at max drive height and allowing the shocks to limit the travel before it over extends and pulls the drive line out, it is a very comfortable and reliable driver.

Sitnlow, center your bags between the axles and the rear pivot point as well as you can. This allows for good height and confortable ride without sacrifice of either. Check out Can Do's site and see how they have theirs set up. The reason why SSD doesn't recommend the rev. 4 is because too many people were setting them up wrong and bitching saying it was faulty product.

i have a cando customs reverse 4 link that works fine. i can get around 17 inches of lift in the back and my driveshaft doent pull out.... damn close but it doesnt,

Honestly there really isnt anything wrong with a reverse 4-link in our applications. Yes, it could pull the driveshaft out, if the links were short, and you got a lot fo lift. And yes, you could get some bad wheel hop during hard braking. But both of those will only occur if its installed wrong. If you bars are long enough, and they are parallel with the ground at ride height, you won't have any problems.
