Well that kind of sucks. Didnt know there was any weird drama there...

But yea, basically just that tab with gussets.

right on man, thanks! What about those upper arms and triangulated lowers you make? Would that be a better suspension setup?

P.S. I'm kinda caught in the middle of the drama as an innocent bystander just because it's my truck that they both want to work on... I hope they can work out their differences, but I guess that happens in clubs sometimes.

The only thing my uppers really help is to clear the bag mount at high lift, and to clear the steering shaft when laid out with a BD. And the triangulated lowers just eliminate the strut rods, which are a PITA when body dropping.

cool... I'll keep that in mind!

mine wont lay out without spindals
the ball joints bind up
maybe because the frame is Z notched?
anyways im ofter spindals, for the top plate i just ran triangle shapped gussets

Angle the upper arms. It will lay.

I guess people don't realize that I'm on 90% of the forums out there. Just cuz I dont post doesnt mean I'm not here. I'm constantly learning about every vehicle I can so I can be prepared when a customer brings us a truck.
Brian, Corey doesnt work for HoK. Its shanes shop, I work there.
You are making it sound like we are trying to steal business from dallas. I told you I would rather see your truck static dropped then have a shitty suspension, so your business isnt what we are after. We are just looking out for the best for you.
You say dallas has bagged a truck? news to me. He has never notched a truck, never installed a 4 link, never done shock relocators. His welding ability is pretty questionable. And yet you would rather pay him to do it, probably just as much as we would charge you at the shop just to see it done right.
Its not a matter of us refusing to help dallas becuase we are assholes like you kind of make it seem. I firmly believe that Dallas does not have the skills to do a proper job of your truck, so why would we help him profit from you in doing so when we could do it right. We are looking for the best for your truck. I have nothing against you are Dallas on a personal level. You seem like a nice guy and I dont want any hard feelings between all of us because of this. I wish you guys luck but I'm not going to help dallas make money off of something he shouldnt be doing.
