ive been thinking lately about this..and it seems like it would work but i have no way of trying seeing that ive thrown my overloads away.

since im running two leaf springs and a 3in block, wouldnt i be able to put the overload on top(in essence flipping the overload) and get a lower drop. b/c it seems like it would str8n out the 2 springs for like another inch or inch and a half...am i correct on this thinking??

if so, does anyone have a set of overloads i can get

just put a 3 in block, and a flipped mono leaf....
or
run a 4 link

i know that if u run a mono leaf, and 3 inch block, the frame will lay on the axel... if u remove the bump stops

I HAVE THE SAME TRUCK AND WHEN I HAD IT STATIC DROPPED FOR A WHILE, I HAD TAKEN OUT THE BUMP STOPS, AND THE MIDDLE LEAF. I LEFT MY OVERLOAD LEAF AT THE BOTTOM AND OBVIOUSLY THE MAIN LEAF WITH A 2 INCH BLOCK. MY AXLE ONLY HIT MY FRAME ON REALLY BIG BUMPS BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT RODE FINE. IF YOU DID THAT YOU MIGHT GET A LITTLE LOWER WITH A 2 IN. BLOCK AND REMOVED MIDDLE LEAF THAN YOU ARE WITH YOUR 3 INCH BLOCK. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IS AFTER YOU DRIVE IT FOR A DAY, YOUR MAIN LEAF WILL LAY FLAT OVER YOUR OVERLOAD.

i understand what yall are saying...but chk what im saying..i took out my overload instead of middle leaf spring...im asking that if i get another overload leaf spring and put it on top of the spring pack...

1st spring=overload leaf
2nd spring= top leaf
3rd spring=mid leaf

you see what im saying??

yeah i see what your saying but i wouldnt do it, it will give your truck a shitty ride and it probably wont make it any lower..if you got an overload leaf put it at the bottom and remove the middle one. it will make your main lay flat over the overload and ride pretty good. with your 3 inch block, i dont know if you did that if your axle will hit your frame. it might clear but it'll be close.

i know it rode fine when i did mine like that with a 2 inch block. had to takeout the bump stop but it was fine. i would measure it out to see if it will be alrigvht with a three inch block.

right now im w/o overload and 3in block i hit frame, but my leafs are still in the upward arc position, thats what made me think about it, so i could 'flatten' it out and get a lower ride.

thanks..it just ran thru my mind for a while and ive been thinkin bout doin it
