you can lay 18' with stock spindles and just flip the ball joints. 20's there's no way a stock spindle would get that low with that size rim. body dropped on 18's pushes stock spindles to the limit....everyone that i've seen body drop their toyota on anything bigger than 17's they had to use a drop spindle.

i got 17's to but its not that bad....are you rollin your truck low all the time? i usually roll with the front end locked out or almost and i get an allignment every 4 to 6 months. lol. the tire guy said my tires are wearing on the inside cause of the way my tires toe at different heights all the time.

Yea camber won't destroy your tires, toe in or out will, and incorrect ackerman will fuck them hard.

And yes, you CAN lay 20s with a stock spindle, and 22s with drop spindles.

It can be done. You will have a lot of camber, but yes, it can be done.

i have no camber with drop spindles on stock wheels or 18's lol

Camber and Toe are Tire wear angles Caster is a non-tire wear angle
Most of the time incorrect toe will cause a cupping effect cause it pretty much drags that edge of the tire when you try to center the wheel

Don't rule spindles out completely. I needed them to lay my truck out. There was no doubt about it. I was able to lay without them, but my tires crushed the vaccuum lines against my intake manifold, and I was hardly laying. My camber was insane, I had about 30 degrees. My upper arm was literally straight up and down, and the very corner of my tire was all that touched.

ok, but what about those of us that drive like 1" off the ground all the time?? My tires will be a year old in december, and there is NO tread left on the inside but the outside is new. From the front my camber looks like /------\ when im driving, and i would like to straighten them out so i dont wear the tires only on the inside , and so i dont have to drive with the front all the way up if i wanna keep my tires.

Get drop spindles and you will have very little camber.
