theres not an 'accessory' on that switch(3prongs)??

three prong switches usually use a ground on the third prong for their integrated light.

o...ok no light switch..yea battery term

that is wired wrong, your Main battery wire, and Comps are right like you have them, just ground the left hand small terminal..

NOW

On your one you have to the switch, that is actually supposed to be going to your pressure switch,, You need to run your toggle inline between the relay and pressure switch

he neglected to mention if he is using a pressure switch.
the 12v+ would still go where he is asking, but the pressure switch would break inline in the wire from switch to relay.

personally, i dont like those relays, their more like solenoids really, but this is how it should be done:

i really like the keepitclean relays that sd sells.

i was thinking about this a while back.

i dont have a toggle switch on my system right now...my compressors turn on only if my ignition is on. however, if i air up to get into a driveway for like a fast food resturaunt or something sometimes my compressors will kick on and the only way to turn them off is if i turn my truck off. if i put a toggle switch in between my p.s. it would allow me to leave the toggle on' and my compressors would run like they do until the p.s. turns them off but in cases where they are running and i need them off i can just turn the toggle off and it will turn the compressor off? does that make sense?

and the only difference would be hooking it up this way is instead of my ignition turning off and on my compressors the toggle will? so if i turn my truck off, i can leave the switch on and have my compressors fill the tank until the p.s. kicks them off.

sorry to jack a thread but ive been wanting to put a toggle switch in but am not sure as to how exactly it will work.
