thats cool, im thinkin about using my a/c switch because its there and i dont have any a/c stuff in my truck other than the button. i took it all out when i blew my motor up and didnt put it back in because the compressor took a shit a few years back.

that would be hot...unknown button..."man turn on the a/c" LOL

I disagree with that setup myself, NOT that there is anything wrong with it.. Its just cleaner if you wire it up with an 80 AMP stinger... Here is a diagram that I made.. If your not going to be running a pressure swith (I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND) You can skip the pressure switch and run the wire off the toggle switch DIRECTLY to a hot wire (ACC WIRE) to assure that it shuts down when your truck is not on..

Here is a picture of mine, just to get the idea.. I still have to clean up the wiring AFTER i cut the inners out..

Cleaner my fat ass, whats so clean about using a lawn mower starter solenoid as opposed to a "keep it clean" relay?

and 12 guage to the pressure switch is by far not a requirement. that is a signal only, no juice is carried over that wire, you could use a 24 gauge if you really wanted to. there is no amp load on the pressure switch.

and another thing, 10 would be the minimum gauge from relay to compressor, not 8, unless you had a very long run, say, around the truck twice. look at the lead wires on your compressors, are they 8 gauge? no they aren't. I'm sorry to be sounding like such an ass here, but the picture you've posted doesn't look that clean to me. may just be my opinion, and what you've drawn will work, but is not entirely necessary.

opinions are like ass holes everyone has one...

Like I said its all personal preference.. I have both the "keep it clean" relays and the 80 Stinger.. When all is said and done You will not see any of my wires.. I just put them there for the time being so i could move the truck around..

If you are running more than one compressor I just think its easier, looks better if you are using the stinger, You have alot less wiring to deal with..

I dont get what you are saying about lawn mower solenoid.. I bought mine from Suicide doors..

Also I know you dont have to have that size wire, THAT IS JUST WHAT I USED... It is a reference for anyone else... I used that thick of wiring because im running Large compressors.. I would rather them get enough juice as opposed to not enough..

LIKE I SAID ABOVE everyone has there own opinon.. I like my set up you like yours.. Nothing wrong with that... I will have better pics of mine once I start putting it back together

^lawn mower starter solenoids look exactly like that. as for the wiring, I'm running ten gauge to the comps, I have four viair 460s, they're plenty big enough. the lawn mower comment is just cause thats what they look like, not a slam on you, I just dont care for em.
