how much does a shop charge for BD's or if your a pro welder how much do u charge!!! just want to see how much the price range would be for a truck to lay rockers.. I would do it myself but don't know much about welding and theres no shop in hawaii that does BD's, some are just done backyard..

Could grand normally. Can be $1500 to $3500 depending on where you go.

so I rather would find a good welder and try do it ourselves??

Well thats all up to you. When bodydropping a truck, you could be potentially destroying your truck. Thats the way I looked at it when I did it. I asked myself if I was ready to do it, and started cutting.

so u just learn it on your own basically, I seen everything u done to ya truck and I give u props for doing all that stuff by yourself... nah I wouldn't mind cutting up my truck cause the cab is somewhat not in good shape anyway..

Theres only one way to learn. I just thought it out, and went for it.

There are welders and there are fabricators. Ive seen quite a few jobs where somone had their "badass welder friend" weld on a kit and it STILL came out wrong because they didnt know how to read a tape measure or understand that things need to be square, level, straight, ect.

That being said understand that you get what you pay for. I personally have yet to do a traditional bodydrop but i can see charging 3 grand for it.
