how did you cut your tranny Xmember out i was tryin with a sawsall but i just couldnt move it around under there and i did have a vey long blade...i wish i had a full lift...

jack it up put it on stands...
and then cut it out..

my sawzall and grinder to clean it up..

you must become one with the sawzall... and then clean all the rest up with the grinder.. its not as hard as it sounds.. go buy some long ass blades. and eye protection....

If your having that hard of a time you can just take your cab off and cut it and put it back on ... JK LOL... or maybe you have a friend to come and do it while you watch ? thats how my friends are ... I am the teacher /or babysitter... hahahaha. good luck and WEAR EYE PROTECTION....

def wear eye protection lol trust me i kno hhha,i jacked my truck up and kept tryin to cut it out,it def wasnt easy for me but i got it out,my problem was i had to keep going from cutting from one side and then starting to cut from the other side and the cuts didnt match up,(it prob didnt help that that truck wasnt high enuff for me to fit under their easy)let alont me and the sawzall lol)eventually the cuts match up and what wat came out looking like shit was the actual crossmemeber(which you wont need),i used my sawzall and some med size blades if i used longer ones it prob wud of been easier.but w/e its out lol

Sawzall is the cheapest method. Plasma or OA torch is by far the easiest.

nice...i think i will just torch it out...i am planning on buying a plasma cutter hopefully soon...that will be nice...its just oquard gettin under there with the sawzall
