What subs are good

I am looking around for some 12s inch subs for my truck, i have PGs and they are ok, but make nice amps. i have been looking at kicker and JL, but have you guys hurd of Resonant Engineering, Elemental Designs, Sound Splinter, they make nice stuf, but i am looking something that gives the boo boom, so let me know what is a good speaker to bye or the companys i worte about. i got two jl W3's in my expo with 1 alpine amp and they hit, u ever heard u get what u pay for? ive also ran MTX, pioner, and AudioBahn, but i like my JLS the best, crossfire makes good stuff. and kicker

The insallation is very important.DD, RE, Adire, Treo, etc. ALL make very good subs, but in the wrong enclosure they are can be wasted. I just bought some 12" Kicker Comps (by one get one free, literally, untill september) running off of an old Fosgate Punch125.2 (125 watts per sub) in a 5 cubic ft. vented box tuned to 35Hz, pounds and sounds quite good. (by the way, don't let anyone fool you into thinking ported boxes are for SPL only, not true at all)

#1 sub in the world right now is a Digital Designs 9515, DDs 12s kick ass but with DD, NO WORRANTY plus it takes 3 to 5 weeks to get them in your hands. If your looking for some DD stuff email me, cuz im selling all of my DDs and going with MMATS stuff. Just as good as a DD but you get great customer survice plus a 3 YEAR WARRANTY. i've been running 2 12 mtx8000s for about a year now. i've got an xtant 1000w amp pwering them. i've abused them and they still sound great. nice deep boom.

40-60 bucks a pop on ebay. cant beat that.
