how long have u had the subs? theyve been out forever and a day so u say.....300 for each sub is 600 and 600 for the amp? which im guessing is a two channel? (seeing as u put 4 ohm stable) seems like a decent deal for someone with that much money. but im sure most people want warranty with that much money into a stereo just for the safety of it. good deal though.

ok kids, jl is dirt, period. i have heard jensen subs that sound better than jl's subs, and i dont care who u are or what club ur in, i do audio installation for a living as of right now, n its not just the sub that makes the sound, its the box, the way its tuned, the amount of dynamat in ur ride, the volted from ur line driver or radio to the amp, and as well as the quality of the amp. if you want a nice sounding sub, eclipse aluminum is where its at. i bought 2 10's off ebay for 400 bucks and they were probally the cleanest subs i have ever heard in my life. they hold their own. now i have 4 12" L7 kickers in my daily driver (97explorer), and if u want boom.. 2 12 L7's and a kx1200.1 kicker amp. u cant go wrong, they sound damn good too, but the bass is unreal, and ive heard loud systems, and mine shits on any jl w7 multi sub setup. its not just the products that sound good, its the aspects of the installation.

Wow, you do it for a living. You must be god or something.

You are a retard.

I was useing Alpine type S 12" i liked them. They sound good. But now i have a single cab truck so its kinda hard to run 2 12's with out a blow through. So now i have an old Planet Audio Zetar 10" and a hifonics 500 watt class D amp. DAMN thats all i got to say about that.

Yeah im gonna agree with chris on that one. for being a professional why would you get your subs off ebay. the kickers slam but they dont hit the amount of notes the jls do and i have smoked or "shit on" many vehicles with a multi sub square kicker set up with one 13.5 so....... Must be a good install huh

me personally...i HATE the sound of a w7. w3's and w6's.....i would LOVE to have either of them as a multisub setup. they are just great subs period. w7.....eh its not worth any money close to what they ask. they didnt even develope the technology behind that sub....and want an ungodly amount for it. BUT i will say this....they slam. just dont sound good doing it to me. and as we all know, u cant bash someone for not likeing a sub, cuz we all love different sounds. and YES i have heard the sub lol. some subs that i like are sound splinter, alpine type r's AND s's, mmats (all of them to be paricular lol), kicker comp vr's, jl w3's and w 6's, eclipse 8700 series, eclipse titaniums, resonant engineering re8's (even though i had a faulty one) ummm.....theres plenty more, but i wouldntspend money on JL like some people do. their amps are awsome but there are AS good for WAY less than a dollar+ a watt. my setup right now is the soundspliner rl-p15 and an eD nine.1 running at 2 ohms. its a great setup for a new guy and BANGS like crazy and VERY VERY VERY durable. i love it. i want 4 sonic fx D10's though. that would just make my day....

I know a little about audio and all but im not a professional by any means. but that dude threw in some technical terms people dont use in basic stereo setups......."line out converter" if i remember correctly...u only use those with a stock radio so everyone that has a STOCK radio running your system raise ur hand......noone. thats what i thought.

aplpine type r'd are pretty good. i have two 10's in my car with a kicker 350.2 amp and i definitely can't complain about them.
