I go my spindles today.

They were forged steel. They baked them in an oven overnight then cut and welded them back together while hot. They plated the welds with stell, TIG welded with a nickle rod I believe, and they burried them in sand to let them cool slowly. They look bad ass and look strong as hell. If they break it wont be on the part that was welded, either above or below.

post some pics bro!

BELIEVE IT OR NOT I DONT HAVE SHOTS OF THE WHOLE SPINDLE. THE ONLY PIC I HAVE IS OF THE UPPER BALLJOINT (POSTED A FEW PAGES BACK), WHICH SHOWS THE TOP OF THE REINFORCEMENT A BIT.

Damn homie how did you do that? Mine is a 95 so maybe different that yours but the alternator is set behind the axle. I hit the "frame rail" before I hit anything else.

I know, and I havent even notched the frame rail yet. I guess Ill look into raising the motor.

I stand corrected man. I just happened to look at my car and I think the axle is hitting the alternator to. Damn guess I gotta raise the motor now.

The deal is I have had one hell of a week. Had a huge unexpected vet bill that just killed my cash flow for the week. I have no money to by myself food let alone cutting wheels, sawzall blades, new tubing because the 1.5" tubing I bought is way to big. I had to get all the shit I had out of storage, my old mazda bed, fenders, doors, and a bunch of other misc shit that dosent fit in my already cramped garage. My cameras dead, dont want to spend my only three dollars on batteies to show yall the spindles, honestly don't give a crap right now becasue I cant even put them on the damn car because I cant clear a path for the fucking axle because I cant cut shit. Plus an essay and huge design project for school. AND I am leaving tomorrow to go camping for 5 days in Idaho with a dog that has a cone on his head (having to do my homework camping)Plus my girl being in California while I'm in Idaho Sooooooo.... My week is shot, and as you can probably tell from my tone I'm not happy about it.

I didn't feel the need to post anything about me whining and bithching about my exuceses to why I havent been working on the prelude. So that's why I have been avoiding the post this week...lol....
