I'm going to have to measure the spindles compared to the Accord. If the Prelude does have shorter ones, that would be an easier answer, at least for the wagon.

Yeah I was kinda hoping they would have squeezed the last 1/4 inch out of em, but they should work(crossin finders)I'm for sure moving the control arms down too.

Damn I wouldn't think the wheel would fit either. I kinda wish I would have just got my shortened. So any of ytou guys want to come to louisiana and raise my motor so I can go lower?

Hey guys,

Let's try and get some measurements of spindles from all of our Hondas.
If there is a car out there with shorter spindles than others, it would really help whoever has the longer spindle.

I guess we can just measure from the center of the hub (on the outside) up to the top edge of the spindle where the upper control arm mounts.

If there is a spindle out there that is even an inch shorter, that would make a huge difference for a lot of people.

My accord is in the body shop right now or I would be able to compare the Prelude to the Accord and see if there is a difference.

I have a spare set of spindles from a 91 Civic base model and the measurement on that is about 14 1/2 inches.

I guess I could just go to a junkyard and start measuring, but they are only open when I am at work and none are within a half hour of me.

I guess we should measure from two places... The first one should be from the very center of the hub on the front of the spindle (between the lug nuts) straight up to the top edge of the spindle where the upper control arm mounts. (The tape measure will have to bend to do it, but that is okay, it doesn't have to be exact)

The second one should probably be from the lower ball joint to the top of the spindle.
