I really don't know if it is more work to lay out a car. But I do know that it is harder because the research isn't there. It is easy to lay out a truck because everybody knows exactly what to do to accomplish it. With unibody cars it is a completely different story.

But the cool part about that is, once we do it, we are different from every other car at a show (except for me... I've got the Prelude and Scootamack at our shows)

God bless you guys. Finally a post that has stayed on task and has actually been helpful. Keep the info coming. Very impressed with all the work Jason, keep it up and lets see alot of pics when your done. This isnt your girls prelude is it?

Yep its the womans car. She is freaking out right now too! coming out to the garage and seeing her car hacked to shit. "when are you goign to finish this thing? You said you would be done by now!" ughhh.....

I love you though baby.

Hopefully things are on the up now, I got an unexpected bonus today at work!!! I was so fucking happy coming in on Monday morning after a 4 day long weekend to see a 700 dollar bonus check sitting on my desk!!! I'll order all the hydro cylinders and fittings, and lines and shit this weekend. And I am goign to by all the steel to do my new frame on the Mazda, HELL YES!!!

Soooo.... hopefully this weekend I will have made some great progress!!!

Oh, I have a question for anybody who has had "hybrid" setup experience.

1st. what is the largest cylinder that I will be able to put on the front of the prelude?

2nd. Should I get a larger cylinder for the rear set that will be over the bag? You know what I mean???

I would say the largest cylinder to use up front would be 6in since its gonna be bd but you might be able to squeeze an 8in. And as for the rear you do not have to put the cylinder on top of the bag you could mount it else where but I wouldnt go any bigger than an 8in out back unless you want crazy lift for some reason.

I am just worried about the pressure in between the cylinders. I was thinking of using a bigger one just to make sure I squezze every drop of oil to the front cylinders.

Oh and it just came to me. I have already cut out the strut towers and started on a tube clip, so I really can just put whatever I want in there right,(I only want an since Ill be making a new mounting position for it.

I only want an 8 inch. not a smiley face...

I was gonna say that smiley face is gonna be damn hard to make work. Yea since your building new mounts and shit just do all your measuring twice, your major issues is gonna be the hood.
