maybe on day, I'll figure out how to post pics on here, but here's a few of mine. the 720 was my first truck which I got in 89. I had chrome 15" toyota 4x4 wheels on it. These were my brothers wheels from his mazda which I thought were cooler than mine back then, LOL. the hardbody, I got new in 90 and this was probably 91-92. the suspension was non adjustable. notice the wink mirror with the stainless louvered cover. : )I joined LOCAL MINIS with the 90 nissan. enjoy

I REMEMBER BACK IN '88-'89 I WAS ABOUT 10- 11 YEARS OLD. THERE WAS CANDY APPLE RED MAZDA FROM LITTLE RASCALS IN FRESNO, WITH 15X8 DIP DISH DAYTONS, GOLD TRIM SHELL WITH BLAZER STYLE WINDOW, AND DANCING BED. YOU COULD HERE HIS SYSTEM FROM ABOUT 2-3 BLOCKS AWAY, HE'D DRIVE BY EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT. I USED TO LOVE THAT TRUCK , AND SAY ONE DAY I'LL HAVE A TRUCK LIKE THAT.

I remember goin to the library at school and looking at the few minitruckin mags they had every day. I always wanted to take them home and never return them but when you were in elementary school they started rumors to make people not want to steal from the school.

I have been rading minitruckin since 1989 when it came out 4 times a year.. As for John Tondro.. I flew from here in GA. all the way to CA. and headed out to riverside to hang with him at his shop. We then headed out to parker fro spring splash 97.. I'm at work now but I'll be back on later to tell the whole story.

...There were a few people who had Hydraulics and one guy had a body dropped S-10 with the old school directional wheels. I've still got pictures from that show, I wish I had a scanner so I could post some of them.

Casey Hardin, from Morehead, Ky. Also owned the Tonka Toy hopper. He built that truck circa 1992. He's now a instructor at Wyotech in wyoming. Cool guy.

This thread rocks- brings back my Banzai days
