I would like to know what has happened to these trucks. Wish there were still some out there untouched from the day. My favorite truck that I have seen in person is Last Look.
I just recently bought the Purple Ranger featured in the October 1997 MT. (Wish I could find the green one) Still looks great, will definately enjoy it.
Thanks for the thread even though I feel older now.

If you want to see what happened to Bad to the Bone just look at the hood of Last Look it tells the story of the end of Bad to the Bone and the start of Last Look.

This is my truck right after I bought it from Buffalo, OG NC diego, in Feb 96. It was BD Bagged and on huge 16's in 94/95 by the Chop Shop.

me and a buddy used to drive his static dropped mazda on roads where the wheel depressions where so deep we could drag. that was the coolest thing to us back then.

I've been into minitrucks since 88.Back then I had an 85 Nissan 720 with a hot tops convertable kit, chrome Wedz GS wheels, and it sat about 1 1/2" off the ground with cranked torsions, and pulled leaves and blocks with a small c-notch.I still have my original copy of minitruckin somewhere with that ugly ass black, yellow, and red Nissan on the cover. The trucks that got me into it back then were Lee Bowers yellow toyota with the huge system from Audio Chamber, and the red Too Hot Nissan from FL.Damnit, now I feel old.

If you go to:

http://sportruck.com/feature/feature.htm

you will see a few mini-trucks that have been around. Most are from 1995-1998...

wheels are always a good date stamp.

"bad to the bone" was wrecked while on a trailer coming back from a show.a friend of mine has one side of a framerail hanging up in his garage.the truck was parted out, then
the guy who had all the chrome/engine etc. had a fire in his shop, shop was a total loss.rip
