Why would it burn my coil up? Too much power? I'm set up to run a round cylinder, so could I just change it to a different one? And how did you wire it up to the tach?

The wires for the tach are there along with all other kinda goodies you can hook to it.Lemme get the specs on that box,I dont think its desgined to work with that coil and would cause problems.

I bought the new MSD 5900 Blaster today. Its more of a economy ignition, for mild performance motors. Supposed to be more tuned for the street and good mileage. Hopefully its not too difficult to wire up.

let us know how it works out man.

I'm interested in how these systems work out for you guys. I have been looking at the MSD and the Jacobs systems, but have not made any decisions yet.

I bought that one because it was $120 shipped. It sounds like just what I need, and I've been interested in doing it or a while. Should be here soon, but I probably wont test it for another month or so.
