where do i find a good, cheap check valve, and is it a common sense thing to set it up?

ekstensive metal works, 850 psi i think, 281-442-1050. Yea its a good idea to put one in.

www.innovativeairsuspension.com. Larrys got 1/2" and 3/8". They show the 3/8" on the site, but he has 1/2" also. Around $15.00 or less. can't beat that.

id need the 3/8", is the valve adjustable? i feel a little retarded asking this, but what psi should my tank hold? its either a 3 or 5 gallon tank, im pretty sure its 5

May be a rating pressed into the tank somewhere. But the check valve isnt adjustable or anything. It allows flow one direction, blocking it in the opposite direction.

lol no you hoook a check valve up between the air tank and the compressor so that the pressure in the tank isn't working against the head on the compressor, i think your thinking of something different
