300zxs are easy as crap to put in, cuz of the design, the rx7s can be tricky, you can end up with some crazy toe problems.

anyone have pics of a 300zx installed? the one corey picked up looks like a fucking nightmare to do anything with. just links and shit everywhere. the rx7 looks much easier to bag, and much cleaner IMO.

what year is that 300zx, the ones ive dealt with have a single control arm on each side with a xmember for the control arms and an xmember for the diff, thats pretty much it, the cvs go through the control arm. the bag mounts where the coilspring went. only thing else i can think of them havin is a sway bar.

maybe its a newer one, look at the profile of toffeechips he has a rear steer 300zx rear end, get an older one like early 90s, late 80s.

that one just looks like a clusterfuck to me.

that 1st one is the one im talkin about, i know mine was from an 89, and it was like that. not hard at all to install, at showfest we saw a mazda with a 200zx rear, never even heard of the car til then, but its crazy narrow, and 4 lug.

ok well the toffeechips one you mentioned is the lower one. That is the one corey bought. Its ugly as sin and looks like it will be a bitch to bag. i forget what year it is.
the first one is nice and simple looking. i guess corey just picked up the wrong year.

the one i picked up was from a 1990 300zx... im waiting to see if i can trade it for an rx7 irs though... hopefully i can... otherwise thats just a mess.

I just got off the phone with my buddy at the wreckers and he's got a 88 rx7 IRS ready for me... I just gotta take back the 300zx and toss him another $75... not bad considering its gonna make life much easier!
