i just went to kbb, i blue booked a 528i with 80k miles from 2000, in good condition from my zip code... then i put in the zip code for san dieago, ca ... the price was 2,000 MORE in california to get the car...

Ah, the joys of living in a po-dunk town.

but ya, autotrader.com the average price between 2000-2006 528i is about 18k, so 17,500 is decent i would say,

but 17000 isn't one of those prices to me, that says "hey, buy me i'm cheap"... well, not like "1500" would.

I got a 98 328iC that the bank is about to come repossess from my ex if any one wants to beat them to it.

Just joking, but seriuosly, 17,500 is probably a good price.

haha well, a 2000 5er isnt exactly a baller car. more like a family sedan.

ok bro just to let you know that is alittle high for the car, yes a 5 series is more luxury then a 3 series but when its almost 6 years old for 17k. you can get one cheaper i think. the only way i would go through with the deal is if i knew the guy and he took really good care of it. but do have to say bmw's look sweet layd out. just wait and see cause im lookin into something not out to public yet to deal with. ha haha ha i love working for bmw.

kinda thinking the same thing.

now, if you were to buy a 2006 m5, i would be impressed.
