i don't think dupont has dp90. the dp90 i know is PPG, and it is a epoxy primer or more used as a sealer. good for bare metal, and bonds to just about anything. i have a camaro that i put a fiberglass hood on, and for the time being i painted it semi gloss or flat black whichever you want to call it. i used sikkens rally black. sprays like single stage paint. have not saw duponts hot rod black. painted dupont for about 7 months hate the value shade sealer and really hate their basecoat. shot sikkens for 2 years, and PPG for 9 years oh, you can also use the flat clear, as said before. my 2 cents.

81 toy's right...the dp line is ppg. on my truck i used ppg base with dulling agent...didnt clear it. it doesnt water spot at all, it looks just like primer but not really...if that makes sense. anyway, if this is just something to change your truck up until you can afford to paint, id do a base with dulling agent. itll stay looking better longer than the primer. if its a permanent paint job, use base and clear with the dulling agent...that way itll be protected, but still wont shine. hope this doesnt confuse you more....

i used chasis black on mine, the light grey primer was ghey and sucking in heaps of water, so it was a cheap sealer, its low sheen, looks pretty good and well it was cheap. no water marks.
ill put up new pics when i get some new batteries for my cam.
and 81 toy put up some pics of urr truck, its looks great
