Well..Woodward was a bust..we put 50 miles on the motor before the upper thermostat housing blew up...due in part by the electric fan not running correctly..it creeped up to about 200 as we put gas in it..not 30 seconds after we started up and left did it hit 240 and as soon as we went to turn the ignition off, the hose blew antifreeze all over, sprayed the windshield and wetted down Woodward Avenue at 15 1/2 Mile..It was one hell of a boom. Think we blew a head gasket due to all the bubbles in the radiator after tinkering with the fan and getting it to work. Also the fan was not pushing the air from the radiator onto the engine..that might be another problem. I hate to say it, but Scrapin/Cruisin the Coast is alot better..more parking, more spread out..cars everywhere you can look, and at least the businesses down in Biloxi don't close up shops and make it private parking for their friends. We couldn't even find a place to park because it was all private. I think if it wasnt raining then it might of been better.
And if anyone thinks its a good idea, im going to try to approach the Tunica Casinos in Mississippi and make a "Cruisin on the Bluff City" Cruise. It will go from Tunica, Mississippi into Memphis, Tennessee. Attractions will include Graceland, Beale Street, Casinos', Car Shows (At Casino's), and who knows what else..If you got any other good ideas, think its a good idea, or just wanna bash the idea give me a hollar.
