I would go with the ground wire....thats just me....there is supposed to be a rule (implied) that your power is supposed to be ran on the oppisite side of your signal wire, but i ran my power (4ga) next to my rca for my subs and never got one piece of feed back. SO...try a better grounding spot...AND you could try better RCA's if you are using lpwer quality wiring. Just my 2 cents...

It is ur ground! I've used the worst rca cords u can buy and i've never had a problem it has always been the ground that has caused the whining noise

you might wanna check your Flux-Capacitor
