That's a price for a L...that means we pay like 4.40$/G....if we put it in U$ ===> around 3.65U$/G !!! that ain't cheap!!! So even when you pay 2.60$/G....just remind that us poor canadian pay a 1 U$ more than you for our gas....but hey...we do love bush too!!!

True but the average salary up there is probably higher than here.

that is probobly true that the average salary is higher, but considering Canada helps supply the world with alot of its gas, you'd expect we should pay just as much as the states or even less... i guess when u drive a family car there isn't as much joy, so the added cost doesn't seem worth it, If i used our toll highway to get to work (fastest way) with all this gas price bull shit, I work till lunch just to pay to get here everyday

it's 2.49 here (west Texas). Plus China keeps buying all the oil, metal, and concret that is why all this shit is so expensive. They keep buying all the stuff and then we can't get it and it creates a shortage. It's a bunch of BS if you ask me. Remember back in the 70's when they said they had a shortage? Well we still have oil 35 years later. So I don't believe the shortage BS.

Im payin 2.62 here in Ga. For now anyway. Its just gonna keep going and going. Prolly 3 buck or so hear by labor day. Tha days of 1.95 - 2.00 are gone. If ya'll have noticed they inch up more and more every time. It goes up 20 - 30 cents for a while and then they'll back off like 10 cents or so for a while and then it'll go up another 20-30 cents and then they'll back off again. Up more, down a lil up more and down a lil. Until we can stop electing all these rich f**kers and get some common people with common sence in tha white house then NOTHING is gonna get better. Sorry i'll get off my high horse now.
