what's your take on the new eclipse?

ugly as sin. already suffering from a production wide serious safety recall,good engine, but entirely too fat. needs a serious diet. if mitsubishi wanted to do america a favor, they'd bring the fto over. the way they are going now, the company is just destined for the shitter

I think their FN SWEET. Definatly want the 250hp motor. Definatly want the Metallic Orange.Definatly dont give a rats ass what trucksralright thinks about anything. L8r

it's the truth. the car is pitiful. I gave props to the engine which is indeed nice, but seriously. massive brake failure out of the box? that speaks greatly for mitsubishi. the only GOOD car they make (the fto) they don't sell in the USA. THey've gone far down hill from their prime a few years ago. With the 3000gt, GSX, and evo and fto overseas, they were doing good. now they just make pitiful cars in an attempt to appeal to the mass market of younger people that drive around raving in their girlish looking car. Such a shame for what once was a fine company

I work for a mitsu dealer. The GT's are nice, 3.8L mivac 6spd. It's pretty damn quick. The clutch in them are set up for racing though, kind of a down fall for stop and go traffic, thankfully they have a GS model in a 5spd that a lil more accurate for daily driving. It's not quite as fast as the Gt but it gets the job done. The first few shipped did have a recall on the master cylinder which sucked. But it was nice for us who are paid flat rate. The problem was fixed by mitsu. Here in sept. we will have the Raider mitsu truck, pretty much a dakota with diff frontend and bed. But overall a nice truck. Would be nice to see the truck stock floored.

i don't care for them myself i have an 93 now but gonna sell it and get me a mini truck bagged. this is the wife not paul....lol...gotta keep it in the family ya know if it ain't cut it ain't custom

i give mitsubishi 2 thumbs up for a great design and marketing/adversiting it. but i'm not too sure about the technical aspects on it. i'd like to test drive one first before i agree with anyone.

they should come out with a limited edition model that is on the evo chassis and comes with that engine, it just has the eclipse body on it.
