kandy can be a bitch to spray but it is just a tinted clear...HOK has some a good looking blue base colors u wouldnt have to use a kandy and it looks similar to them. go by a local paint shop who uses HOK and look through there chip book.

Thanks for all the pictures/suggestions so far. They're all giving me some ideas for sure.. but also leavin me a lot more confused because all the colors are really sick looking. I Love the nissan 350z blue (daytona blue) and that was my first choice.. but i was going to order it when i was told its a hard color to spray because it is like a candy paint from the factory? (I don't remember what the reasons were exactly.) im also liking the lighter blues too like on the s10 and chevy that are posted on the first page. the hok trublue over the silver sounds real nice too. thanks for all the ideas/suggestions, keep sendin them cuz its all helpin me get a lot closer to picking a color that will look good on my ranger, I really appreciate it, thanks

Daytona Blue and Long Beach Blue are both 3 stage paints. If your not a painter I wouldn't try it... And I in no way think the HOK Clear is 20 years behind. You'd be hard pressed to find a better looking clear than UFC35.

the blue on the new neons is sick, the light blue.
