Race car stuff sets at 3 degrees down. theres my 2 cents worth. I hope it helps

Yo Ricky. Jus curious as how you`re doing this. Where exactly are you putting the angle finder on the tranny and rearend? Vertically on the driveshaft mounting plate? Or horizontally on the flattest part of the tranny and rearend? Thanks!

ok, just to clear things up. were u place the angle finder is on the tranny yoke and on the diff pinion yoke.and for example if ur tranny shows a +2 angle then ur differncial has to be opposite so it should be -2. if u want a better reading turn the drivshaft and put in on the driveshaft u-joint. on both ends. and with these 4 angles they should be opposite. and thats ur operating angle of ur u-joint. max u can be off id say no more then 1 degree but if u can get it right on its much better on ur u-joints
