did a fuel pressure test on it today, came out to be a bad fuel pump, at idle the pump should be putting out 38-44PSI, started the truck and she's putting out a whopping 18PSI constant, when i floor the truck it drops down to a staggering 12PSI, replacing the pump thursday to see if thats the problem, hopfully all will be well and i'll finally be able to get this thing out to see some light and get a good washing

Pull your pump and look to see if anything is clogging it before you buy a new one. A lot of time the filter can be cleaned and reused. If it has a lot of debris around the filter now would be the time to clean out the tank so it doesn't happen again.

filter is clean, i even took it off and put a new sock on it, the filter is shot, well its not shot, it puts out pressure but not enough to keep the engine running as good as it should, truck doesnt even want to start without starting fluid, i have a push button starter and all i have to do is turn the key to make the pump start pumping, i can leave the key turned all day and the pressure doesnt go above 18PSI, the pump just sounds horrible, i believe its from running so low on gas all the time the pump just burnt up, i need fuel cell foam bad now, anyone know where i can get some? the place i got it from before is no longer around my area and cant seem to find a good place around, anyone know anything on the web?

Fuel cell foam??? what is it used for? If your needing a gasket to seal the retaining ring to the tank your new pump should come with everything needed. Most auto parts store should be able to get any gasket for that set up.

no fuel cell foam are foam blocks os squares that you place within the fuel cell so the fuel doesnt splash all over inside, such as driving down the road and take a turn and all the gas goes to one side of the tank and therefore causing the pump to suck air instead of gas causing the truck to run and buck like shit. The foam is a way to keep the gas from splashing back and forth while allowing it to fill up with gas as well since its a foam pad and absorbs the gas, i have block off plates inside the cell but the gas still splashes extremely bad, i need foam to stop it from bogging out when i turn while the truck is low on gas
