Sectioning a gas tank is pretty easy, just find a nice straight, fairly level part of the tank and cut it in 2. Cut a 2 inch or so section outta the tank, then weld it back together (This section is strictly to raise the tank). On mine, i had to chop the corner off to clear the upper bars too. Then use a classic car gas tank sealer (used to seal small rust holes), pour 2 quarts into the tank, seal off all the holes, and spin the tank for about 15 min.

why do u want/have to run the bags on the bars and dont say ride cuz my customers know i dont sacriface ride for nothing, or height unless u want the rear skied. ride is KEY at sadistic iron werks if it doesnt ride good enough do it again.

..... or u could just buy a fuel cell...im suprised no one has mentioned that, they really arent that expensive and the look about 12 times better then a messy fucked up lookin stock tank. you can build it if you want also to any demension u want , if your investing thousands into your truck for all this work im sure an extra $250 wont hurt to order your self a custom tank, w/ custom demensions from www.aluminumfuelcell.com and you can even mount it inthe stock location if your feeling a little froggy

Yeah, talked with a friend here that owns www.tgfab.com here in jacksonville. He will probably just be making me a fuel cell to mount in the stock location using factory pump, ect..

Also curious how he is going to fill the tank, behind the tag or something?

I run a reverse 4-link on my Yota and have not had any problems for about 3 years since I had it put on.
Bobby, pics look great! Are you working this weekend, I need to come by and see if you have some interior parts that I need. Just little stuff...
