Spraying in driveway without overspray?

I just moved into a town house and have a driveway. I am wondering if you think overspray will get all over the house if I attempt to paint my car in the driveway? I know when I painted in my garage there was always a ton of overspray and I had to mask everything with tarps.

i would say more than likely b/c when i paint in the garage and have hte exhaust fans on it coats the trees and jazz

I would make sure the neighbors cars arent around (especially on the side the wind is blowing.) the house doesnt matter no one is gonna see overspray on the house. I would put a drop sheet under the truck b/c painting your gonna spill some and then ur gonna have some overspray on the concrete. I would mainly worry about the neighbors cars..

my advice would be shoot early in the morning when the wind isnt kicking and spray down the drive way, grass and plants with water that way is keeps as much dust donw as possible

i want to do the same thing..but in my garage. all i have to say is watch out for any bitchy neighbors try to do it when no one is around.

if ur gonna shoot in ur driveway but dont want neighbors bitchin about it, but one of those canopy things that will fit ur mini in. they have ones that will cover sides, or u can be cheap and buy the canopy and tarp all 4 sides for overspray protection.

id probably be expecting a nice letter from the h.o.a. if they find out about that.

Not only is it highly illegal to spray out side, but it will def get all over everything. Thats what it does, float and stick.

ive painted many many cars trucks bike in my carport. just tell your neighbor, and if they care theyll move their car. spray away.. the only time it sucks is when the bugs come and have party on the hood roof or truck it sucks big time!! look at my profile, ive painted all of them in my driveway.. ive had the fire department come out to my house once, they were like what are you doin, im like paintin... they were checkin out my 74 chevy long bed 3 inch chop, unibody, body dropped and sayin how cool the orange color that was being sprayed on it was. but it also depends on where your at, im in phx, oh yeah, if your neighbors bitch, its an easy fix, they always have a dent or ding they need fixed real cheap....
