dude, go to nissanminis.com and check out the forums over there. there are quite of few older datsun owners that are working on their rides just as you describe. one guy that i can think of really quick like is username pacific coast hardbody. if you PM him on the site, tell him that olskool720 sent you. later.

i wentand looked at it beter today. What rims can I throw on it? THere 6 lug. I'm thinking of makin it f full time conv. What do you think of doing that

I had escalade wheels on mine for a while. Looked really good but the rear rubbed the frame in turns cause of the monoleaves & bags. 18s are doable, but finding a set that will tuck & not rub will be difficult I'm sure. To get it to lay, on 18s a notch of course, but for the front you'll need to tub the firewall a bit, & unless you wanna graft on a newer front end to use drop spindles, you'll have to flip the kingpins. I have never done that, but I know of someone who has & can probably give ya some help on that. Also there are a few crossmembers that hang slightly below the frame. Rebuilding that engine shouldn't run ya too much, $1000-$1200 but find a good rebuilder. I'm having to redo my valves soon cause of a crappy engine rebuild. If you do decide to run that engine, there are some tricks to go Elect. Ign. fairly cheap & a few 5 speed trannys that will swap out w/ the 4 speed with a lil work etc. WOW, look at this book, lol enough for now, let me know what ya decide to do, L8R!
