hardest hitting

Kicker L5 or L7. i have one L5 12" in my tacoma in a big ported box and is loud as f*ck. my friend has one L7 15 in his ex-cab S-10 and its hits hard as f*ck too. Whatever you get make sure you have a quality,strong made box or ittl sound shitty or fall apart.

My 2 JLW0 10"s have hit 172db before

I do have a question. Is the 9100 DD subs good in sealed boxes? I won't have the room for ported so I have to stick with sealed but want something other than JL. Or if not, what DD sub should I go with for sealed enclosures for 2 10s?

The loudest manufacturer overall at the show (woofer wise) would be Resonant Engineering. They had the most top place finishes.

Alright, heres my opinion.
Digital Design sucks. They are made by Audiobahn, who is junk. (ive had dd's before, not loud and sq sucked)
L5's and L7's are pretty good. I had 2 12" L7s that sounded good, but the sq wasnt that great. Id def recomend a ported box with the l series. The CompVR are good speakers for decent sound and ok loudness.
Now a SoloX would be nice to have. insane with the right amp.
Ive got 2 12" rockford P3's, they hit 141.8 on an IASCA meter, whos are really really stiff. A normal meter would have been 146-148 db. My friend has 2 12" rockford T1's that hit 151 db on a normal meter. The sq isnt as good as my P3s but they hit hard. The T2's are crazy with a huge amp. Once again SQ is down.
Id love to hear a Jackhammer. I bet they are crazy loud but need like 8000 watts to run.
