Not enough can be said about the quality of the Treo woofers, they are unstoppable. I have yet to able to break one of these freaks, and trust me, I have tried. Sure they are not cheap by any means, but you can rest assured it is worth the money.

Yes, but American Bass was slamming it down with the mid to high 170s years ago with ONE 18, burping at over 38k watts.

To be honest, I think it's more impressive when you punch out awesome numbers with a single speaker setup.

I'd recommend looking into American Bass' new lineup for '06.

The fella that designed the Stroker Pro for Cerwin Vega designed the entire line for AB this year.

If you know the Stroker Pro, you will be in love with the new AB product!!!

there are different classes that compete in the single sub extreme in dB drags. They will be beat in the near future. Just watch and see.

That is a great sub, but I wouldn't say IT is the loudest. Scott Owens used 13 of them to get that SPL. If you want the loudest sub available right now, look for the newest Digital Designs 99Z series (just released at the beginning of this fall). Guys that were using DD 9900 series for competitions are gaining 1-3dB just by dropping in equal sized 99Z's with the same power (not many are using them yet though, they range in costs of ~$5800-$6300).
