Ford F250 VS Chevy 2500 HD

I am in the process of buying a new daily driver/tow vehicle. I have got the same price for both trucks so now it is a matter of decided which is better. What does everyone think

i think the new chev diesel will out pull the ford big time...

I dont think so Mark.LOL The 6.0 Ford is bad ass. They are all about the same though. It's all in what you like.

i think both of them are bad ass but the chevy does look better and its more comfy inside are u getting crew cab

after pulling 20,000lbs with all 3 i still think the chev out does the ford and dodge... You know which truck i bought though..LOL

ford is a heavier duty truck than the chevy but i think the chevy is more comfortable to drive and has a awsome xtended cab i have a crew cab dually ford with a 7.3 i love it i dont realy care for the new chevy frt end either though i tossed around the same idea but got a great deal on this truck used .Both of em are bad ass but i am not a big ifs 4x4 fan so i got a ford

I have a F550 but I wanted a 3500 dually but chevy wanted close to 50 grand so I went with ford. I have never really cared for the dodges

not to step on anybodys toes....but the 6.0 Ford Diesels are junk. Ford screwed up when they rushed production of them to keep up with the Duramax. They are plagued with overheating and headgasket problems

In general the Ford is a cheaply made truck. Im sorry but it is. The parts on it are flat out cheap crappy ass plastic and they just dont hold up anymore. The do however have some heavy duty frames and are strong in that department. The Chevys are far more advanced these days in technology now and are actually full of power. They picked the right combo with that Allison trans and with a little bit of computer programming, The Duramax is one hell of a powerhouse.

now for my personal opinion....i prefer the D'max. Ive towed long distances in both and the chevrolet flat out outpulled, out handled, out rode, and was generally more comfortable than the Ford. And you can ask anybody I went to Showfest with....i was passing them at 95 mph up a hill with a 30 ft enclosed behind me and still got 17 mpg. yes that fast and i know im nuts. thanks for reading

How the hell did you get 17 james?I have the Dmax and love it I pulled a box chevy from Norman Ok. to heat wave also at 90 95 and it pulled like a dream, It is programmed though with the jet programmer and I was getting 14 I would have got a ford but the ibeams suck for lowering....I really liked the cab space. in the chevys the cabs are really small and tight in the back seat.

Oh and James really meant 65. those Mary land people tend to look at things a little different.
