Has anyone done it, and if so, wut size fan is a good size? I have a chance to get my hands on 15in fan dirt cheap and was wondering if I could use it on the 22RE?

Sure you could. As long as it fits between your radiator and engine, and covers most of the radiator. A good adjustable thermostat would be in order as well. It's nice when you don't have all of that wind noise from that finger catcher whirling around under the hood!

but do you think the 15incher will cool the engine good enough?

it should be fine. i think thats the size i have on mine. im also going to add a pusher fan to the front since it is hotter out here.

Use a Centech fan controller that you set to come on @ what ever tepm you want, also installed a manuel override swith @ the dash so when in triffic can turn on before the set point!

Using a electric fan frees up HP, as less driven from the crank.
