240SX IRS in a mini

Looks like a 300zx IRS to me... probably similar if not the same though.

What all do you guys know about the mind to metal shops reputation, work quality ect.

The 240 is the same rearend as the 300 essentially. The gears are the same, the wheelbase is a little shorter, the cradle is different The knuckles have different mounting points etc... etc...

Did I mention the 240 is also 4 lug??? Not a great rearend to use when you can use a 5 lug (5on 4.5) 300z Rearend here's some more info:
Rear diff type : R180 (180mm ring gear)
Ratios : 3.36(auto) 3.54(manual)

I already have the 240sx in the back yard, so it's an easy chose of what to use, I think it's a simple swap from 240 to 300z disk on the back. it's going in a hilux, so who sells shorter half-shafts for these rear endes?

^My daily beater is a 97 240, it's 5 lug, but most are 4. Not positive, but I think it's the same lug patern as a ranger or taco.

yes, some of the 240's have a 5-bolt pattern, most of the 5- bolt ones also have LSD but not all of them. by the way does anyone need parts off this car befor I scrap the rest?
